Leilani Serrao-Baker’s real estate mantra is, “It isn’t about how many homes I sell; it’s about how many people I help.” A devoted professional, Leilani possesses all the attributes of an excellent real estate agent: Extensive knowledge, attention to detail, great communication skills, and creative vision, but most valuable of all, heart and the desire to serve.
Originally from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Leilani studied sales and marketing in college and was a flight attendant for 23 years. Mastering sky-high, first-class service, Leilani subsequently launched a flight attendant business and a line of body care products. Numerous renowned magazines featured her products, and she earned the 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Beauty Industry West. After buying several homes in LA and Orange County with her husband, Leilani decided to act on her longtime interest in home design and real estate, as she saw opportunities to plug in her passion and improve the customer experience. Leilani’s service and entrepreneurial background increase her capacity to anticipate people’s needs think on her feet, respect deadlines, and negotiate shrewdly. Leilani understands that real estate emotions can run high even during the best times, and she steadily navigates the journey while ensuring she meets her clients’ expectations.
Serving primarily south coastal Orange County, Leilani’s success as an agent has earned her coveted recognition. HomeLight ranked her in the top 3% of agents who sell homes quickly and in the top 10% of agents who secure the asking price or above for their sellers. Leilani is also a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) specialist, has vast experience in probate and trust sales and is a certified Probate and Trust Specialist. She was recognized from Orange Coast Magazine as a 2022 Real Estate All-Star, ranking in the top 1% of the agents in all of Orange County. Passionate about home design, Leilani often stages her showroom-worthy listings.
Now a 14-year Dana Point resident and homeowner, Leilani enjoys her time away from real estate with her husband and daughter — the latter inheriting her parents’ talents of singing, dancing, and playing the cello. Leilani loves yoga, hiking, working out, boating, and refinishing furniture. She also sponsors community events in her neighborhood of Sea Canyon, including yearly garage sales, dog adoptions, and Santa events.
